Run a workshop

If you’re wanting to run a workshop we’d love to host it here.

We operate on a set fee, so you don’t need to worry about set up/pack down time or overrunning etc. The space is yours up to half a day or all day if you’re running a longer workshop.

Up to half day: £60
Up to full day: £100

Tickets

We suggest you sell the tickets through your own site/platform (such as Eventbrite) so you can manage the attendees. We will still be around to support setting up and guiding people in etc. You can then receive all ticket sales directly and we invoice you for the hire cost.
Events are listed on our website with a link to your ticket site, and we’ll give it a plug on social media too.

Other options:

We can also operate in different ways if preferred, i.e. We discuss and agree a set artist fee to run the workshop or do a profit split etc. For these, it’s best to come with a set workshop plan and artist rate in mind.

What we provide:

  • We’ll provide tea and coffee for attendees (feel free to bring anything extra though)

  • We have covers for the tables for any messy activities.

  • Listing on our website

  • Listing on poster in the shop downstairs

  • Social media graphic in our house style (you can make your own if you wish though) and sharing on social media.

Free events/clubs/community
While we do need income to help sustain the studios, if you’re interested in running something free/cheap/community focused that doesn’t work with the above costs that’s okay. Feel free to drop us a message for a chat as we’ll do what we can to see if it’s something we can support. (eg: crit sessions, artist meet ups etc)

Capacity

Naturally this depends on the kind of event/workshop you’re running and the space each person needs but the space can fit roughly anywhere from 4 to 16 people. If you’re unsure, feel free to drop us an email to arrange a visit to the space.
